Our services are based on defined frameworks, submitted documents, and applicable criteria. Certification or final approval is dependent on eligibility and evaluation outcomes. Payment alone does not guarantee certification.

3. Eligibility and Authorization

If you are using our services on behalf of a business, organization, or project owner, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and have the necessary rights and permissions to share the required information and documents.

You also confirm that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and provided in good faith.

4. Documentation and Evaluation

Our assessment process may require supporting documents, clarifications, revised submissions, or additional information. We reserve the right to review, request, or reject incomplete, unclear, or non-compliant submissions.

Evaluation results are based on the information provided and the standards applicable to the relevant service category.

5. Payments and Fees

Fees charged for registration, assessment, documentation review, certification support, or related services are applicable as communicated at the time of engagement.

• Once payment is successfully processed, it is considered final and is not refundable
• Fees are charged toward the resources, review effort, and service process involved
• Applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), may be charged separately

5.1 Additional Fee Guidelines

• Parking areas need not be considered as part of the built-up area
• Projects previously certified under IGBC Green New Buildings and now opting for certification should refer to the IGBC Green Existing Building Rating
• Fee is exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST)
• Registration, Precertification, and Certification fees are non-refundable
• The fee structure is applicable to both Owner-occupied and Tenant-occupied projects

6. Certification and Outcome

Certification is not automatic and is not guaranteed by payment or application submission. The final outcome depends on whether the product, service, or project meets the required standards and evaluation criteria.

Where eligibility is not met, the outcome may be a non-approval, deferred review, request for additional information, or other result determined through the assessment process.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Submit only valid and authorized documents
• Use the services for lawful purposes only
• Cooperate with the review process
• Maintain confidentiality of login details or account access where applicable
• Follow any service-specific guidelines shared with you

You are responsible for the authenticity of the information you provide.

8. Confidentiality

Any documents, communications, reports, or other information exchanged during the course of service may be treated as confidential. You agree not to disclose confidential business, process, or service information obtained from us unless we have given prior written consent or disclosure is required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, frameworks, methodologies, documents, graphics, designs, text, layouts, and related materials owned or licensed by Ecoinch services private limited remain our property or the property of our licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

We are not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate submissions, incomplete documents, third-party actions, technical interruptions, or decisions made based on evaluation results.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ecoinch services private limited, its team, affiliates, and service partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or submission of inaccurate or unauthorized information.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to our services if we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, fraudulent activity, or conduct that may harm our operations, users, or reputation.

15. Changes to Services or Terms
